What would you do in the event of a fire?
Under formal risk assessments, studies have shown that in real emergency situations, occupants may panic, especially in the scenario of total power loss of the normal lighting and very often, forget to raise the alarm. Think of the King's Cross or Bradford Football Stadium fires. In both of these cases, no one called the Fire Brigade!

Even after activation of the fire alarm,
occupants tend to hesitate, waiting for instructions from authorised
fire personnel.
